A hands-on introduction to PyGMAlion-Julia

Abstract: This will be a practical coding session to introduce the Julia modelling platform, greatly inspired from its C++ counterpart, developed
over the last months. It will be seen how to design a simple model from scratch, which should help comprehend the modelling framework,
overcomplicated at a first glance, but which in fact allows to use many generic functions – notably some to easily compute probability density
functions – and therefore design generic algorithms in a concise manner. If time allows, existing algorithms – for sensitivity analysis or
parameter estimation – will be applied to the newly created model and their results will be plotted.
