Since 2002, the Digiplante team has been focussing on the mathematical modelling of plant growth.

Plants appear as typical complex systems: nonlinear dynamics, multi-scale issues, multiple and interacting biophysical processes, regulation and retroaction loops. Their modelling raise critical mathematical issues.

Digiplante develops mathematical and statistical methods as well as software to design, evaluate and apply plant growth models.
